“It was very good to have the opportunity to work with you. The card-sorting exercise was fascinating. I am very happy to be working with you again. With the sorts of issues that we are addressing, confidence and trust in an advisor are essential, and I know you will see us smoothly through the process.”

“The car arrived on Saturday. I forgot to take pictures or document because I was completely in the moment. The car sounded so good I kept flipping between excitement and anxiety! (The truck driver) lowered it down while sitting inside the car and backed it off when it touched the ground. It looks exactly as described. It drives even better. I forgot the difference between a sporty car and a sports car. It's a real sports car! My Volvo feels like a sedan now. I love it! I spent the weekend driving to wineries and all over the roads. It drives as if on tracks. I love the sound. Best of all is feeling the push of the engine behind the seat. I'm going to burn through wheel bearings because I get a big smile on my face when I power through the curvy roads. The road right off my driveway is super fun and leads to other great roads like this one that is 10 miles away. Thank you for the inspiration, support, and advice. I'm incredibly happy with the purchase. And now I'm thinking about what other cars I should get :-)”

“Rich, I wanted to note that I thought Brian was one of the best trainers that I have had in all of my training experiences. His demeanor, engagement and collaborative environment with the group was excellent. I hope USCIS continues to use him as a trainer and coach in the future. Thanks.”

“Brian, I got a call and a few emails today from Rich today about you. You've done such a great job, and they would really like you to be as involved as possible going forward. Rich knows you've moved into a new position, but to the extent that it's possible to do a little more - particularly the symposium - that would be fantastic. I don't want to cramp your new job, but when you're good this is what happens. . . AC

“I felt that the exercise was well worth the time of all who attended as there was a great deal of positive discussion and what I believe to be good suggestions. I believe that the success of this session was due to the fact that Brian was an EXCELLENT facilitator…he kept everyone focused and the group on course.”

Recently, in speaking with Wayne about his team, I asked how it was going with the coaching of (name of client). He said that things were positive and he was pleased with how (name of client) was progressing. Wayne particularly gave credit to you and the work you did with (name of client). He was upfront in saying that initially he had not been convinced that training/coaching would be helpful, but in the end, he thinks that it was a significant factor in this successful outcome. So, I wanted to be sure to pass that along to you. We greatly appreciate the fine work that you have done for us.

“I honestly cannot remember the last time I have seen our staff as engaged in a training as they decidedly were in both your sessions. And the evaluations confirmed it - superb ratings from staff who were required to attend by management. Thanks too, for acknowledging the mandatory nature of this training at the outset, with the accompanying comment that 'you'd help make it instructive and fun' for them, too. You surely did both! You got it "just right", with a perfect mix of content and hands-on practice, too. It's no wonder that so many of your students have asked us to bring you back for a redo of this training next FY. We feel the same way! As my colleagues know first-hand, you have done a lot of Training & OD work for us over the past 10-11 years. You have done first-class work for us. Thank you”

“Brian was first rate; he always seemed to hit the right "note" throughout this project. He had the right blend of being supportive yet straightforward when delivering harsh customer feedback to staff, he explained very sophisticated customer service principles in a way that was clear and easy for staff to understand, and he had a knack for presenting core issues in a logical and uncomplicated manner. We thought he did a good job on both the design and implementation of the project, and he was willing to make adjustments as the project unfolded to better meet our needs. We look forward to working with Brian and his team again in the future.”
U.S. Department of Education, Customer Service Assessment, Training, and Planning (Implementation and Evaluation)

“The NCVHS Team embarked on an aggressive training program. The consensus of the team was that we needed to build momentum, build trust, and improve our conflict resolution skills. There were individual confidential interviews conducted by Dr. Peters to elicit independent responses from team members. The interviews were designed and conducted to create a full concept of the range and scope of concerns. A written report of findings was provided and discussed with team members. Subsequent training sessions were held to address concerns raised by members. The sessions were valuable in improving communication skills, addressing conflict resolution techniques, appreciating cultural diversity, and embracing team building as an ongoing activity.
We have accomplished quite a bit in a very short time and with few resources. Dr. Peters was a great asset in getting us started with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Dr. Peters was instrumental in helping the team understand the behaviors of fellow teammates, appreciate others as to make constructive use of individual differences, and recognize that approaching problems in different ways could be healthy and productive for the team.
A follow-up session was held with Dr. Peters to review progress, discuss additional growth areas, and explore strategies needed to continue momentum. The team achieved true camaraderie when we completed our follow-up session. Team members had high momentum as he engaged the team in open discussion and individual exercises. Communication, decision-making, leadership, and team support were all achieved. Because of Dr. Peters' customer focus in customizing the required training exercises and flexibility in meeting our deadlines and schedules, team members have provided positive feedback and enthusiasm about continuing our work with Dr. Peters. We would like to explore having Dr. Peters work with a number of other staff in addition to the team to improve their working relationships. I will discuss this with him next week during our team training.”
